About 1.8 million refugees arrived in the EU last year. The gap between life expectancy for the rich and poor has increased further in the USA from 2001 to the present day. On average the rich live 15 years longer than the poor. For the former the place of residence does not count. For the poor it does: living in relatively rich cities with high public spending lengthens life expectancy, whereas life in rural areas reduces it.
